The Drone Wide Body II is the second generation of the helmet that has triumphed in numerous World Tour Time Trials and Ironman World Championships.

Chosen by the best triathletes in the world and winner, together with UAE Team Emirates and Tadej Pogačar, of the TT at the Giro and the Tour de France, the new Drone was designed in the TUBE, a new and advanced wind tunnel built at MET's headquarters in Talamona.

NEW TAIL: A new tail design, developed in our in-house wind tunnel, helps the new Drone II be 13.5 seconds faster over 40 km time trial than the previous version.

Wide Body design: The MET Drone’s unique wide body design channels airflow over the shoulders, significantly reducing turbulence and drag. This results in valuable energy savings and an aerodynamic advantage for the rider.

Aero engineered in the TUBE: Specifically engineered for cycling aerodynamics and thermal analysis, MET’s proprietary wind tunnel is a state-of-the-art facility for testing helmets, bikes, rider positions, and other aero equipment.

MAG-CLIP Shield: The purpose-built MAG-CLIP Shield maximizes aerodynamics, creating a unique drop shape. The powerful, low-profile neodymium magnetic clips hold the visor securely in place when attached to the helmet body, with no aerodynamic sacrifice, and no danger of vibration misalignment.The soft nose bridge keeps the visor fingerprint free, and an anti-fog coating ensures visor clarity.

LOW DRAG INLETS: Three vents are strategically placed where the airflow creates maxium pressure. Without sacrificing aerodynamic functions we are able to provide a good amount of ventilation guiding the heated air away from your head.
